An Overview of the Arabic Language

Arabic (العربية) is a Semitic language spoken by over 200 million people as their primary language, with many more using it as a secondary language. It employs the Arabic alphabet, which is written from right to left.

Due to its global prevalence, Arabic is recognized as one of the six official languages of the United Nations, alongside English, French, Spanish, Russian, and Chinese. All of these languages are now available options in the Control Panel.

Arabic serves as the official language in most countries within the Arab world, encompassing North Africa, the Arabian Peninsula, and the Middle East.

Arabic exhibits numerous regional variations, such as Egyptian Arabic, Maghrebi Arabic, Levantine Arabic, and others. To standardize the language across the Arab world, Modern Standard Arabic, also known as Modern Written Arabic, was established in the late 19th century.

Modern Standard Arabic is taught in formal education throughout the Arab world and significantly differs from the various Arabic dialects commonly spoken in each region. This standardized version is the Arabic option enabled for Control Panel users worldwide.

Marketing Advantages of Offering Arabic in the Control Panel

With over 300 million Arabic speakers worldwide, encompassing various Arabic dialects, Arabic ranks as the fifth most widely spoken language globally, following Mandarin, Spanish, English, and Hindi.

Egypt boasts the largest population of Modern Standard Arabic speakers, with approximately 65 million people. Algeria, Sudan, Iraq, Saudi Arabia, and Morocco follow in terms of Arabic-speaking populations.

Beyond the Arab world, there is a significant presence of Arabic speakers in regions such as Europe, the United States, and Brazil.

The introduction of the Arabic language option in the Control Panel means that you can now cater to hundreds of millions of users worldwide.

Furthermore, Arabic holds immense significance in various thriving business sectors like energy, construction, technology, and real estate, particularly in countries such as Saudi Arabia, the USA, Qatar, Kuwait, and others.

This presents a valuable niche opportunity for your business to serve numerous profitable enterprises seeking a reliable online presence.

How to Access the New Arabic Language Option

Users can locate the Arabic language option in the language settings, accessible via the drop-down list under 'Settings' in the top right corner of the Control Panel.

To accommodate the right-to-left direction of Arabic writing, the entire layout of the Control Panel has been mirrored. This ensures that the Control Panel is seamlessly adapted for Arabic-speaking users.

The Control Panel has been tailored to provide an authentic and user-friendly experience for Arabic speakers, with adjustments made to the sidebar and dashboard layout to align with the text direction.
